I love pots and I love the huge and seemingly endless opportunities they afford me, as an artist to delve into my soul and still have a lot of fun. My preferred clay is porcelain. I love the feel of it in my hands when throwing a pot, its forgiving nature and willingness to be shaken, chucked, squashed, molded and thrown. Drying is another story, as Porcelain needs careful drying, and even more careful firing. Colour and coloured clays are my passion, one that often leads me up dead ends, however I am learning along the way and what often seems like a mistake, can sometimes later be used to great advantage.
