"Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt.”

Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Slaughterhouse-Five

This exhibition brings together works from five London based artist all at an early stage in their respective careers. Across painting, sculpture/object making, sound and performance the show hopes to explore ideas around the unreal or the ‘alternate present’ and how this can potentially galvanize minds and bodies into action with in their own world/reality. The will enable the objects and image to converse with one another in the hope of suggesting parallel universes and economies of making, traversing pain, pleasure, lust/desire and creating transporting the view to another realm galvanizing the internal or the hidden and letting it rupture the glossy surface of ‘reality’.
